Phorkys, eine Meeresgottheit, ist Sohn von PoNtos und GaIa, Bruder von KeTos, NeReus und ThauMas. Er heiratete seine Schwester KeTos. Von ihr ist er Vater der Gorgonen, Grajen und der Echidna. PhorKys gilt teilweise auch als Vater der SirEnen.Quelle: www.mythologica.de
