Description
Students work together to create bookmark pages or “hot lists” that point
to useful references all over theWeb. The Computer Science class in Ubiquitous Computing
did this – students were asked to findWeb resources related to wireless networking,
embedded computing, etc. and post the URLs to pages for others to use.
Suggestions for Future Use: Whenever resources are on theWeb that others may
find useful. It distributes the cost of finding resources across the whole class.
It’s particularly useful when the same
CoWeb is used for the same class across
terms. Those resources become available to “bootstrap” future classes.
